Welcome! I am an applied microeconomist with research interests in the fields of Political Economy, Public Finance and Economic History. My research investigates how electoral institutions shape electoral competition, how different social groups react to ideological monuments and the factors that facilitate cross-group integration in diverse societies.
I am an Assistant Professor (Serra Hunter Fellow) in the department of Economics and Economic History at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. I am affiliated to the Barcelona School of Economics (BSE), the Barcelona Institute of Economics (IEB) and the Centre for Competitive Advantage in the Global Economy (CAGE). I was previously a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Warwick. I hold a PhD from Brown University.
